Like the title states this is not for me and not regarding my car. I have a friend that just purchased a C5. It has LS1 with Auto transmission. What is striking us as awkward are the dino numbers. So I was hoping that you guys can tell me if this looks normal.

What is bothering me here is that the HP is very low even for a stock car, but the torque is pretty strong.
The thing is that the car came with some weird body mods, like cut outs in the fenders on top of the side vents that have mesh in them and and also numerous cut outs in the hood also with mesh, that obviously were meant for cooling.
So, I guess, what I am asking here is if it is possible, the motor had turbos or supercharger and then was returned back to stock and this is why the huge difference in torque and horsepower. Or maybe this is just normal.
Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

torque looks high, HP is normal for an auto. If the torque is measured in Nm, its normal for a C5 auto. Looks like you have a stock C5.
Remember that the values are off of the rear wheel not the crank. You will loose about 18% through the drivetrain with an auto.

Thank you. Like I said not my car. The car was purchased in Germany and is in Eastern Europe right now, so all I have seen of it are a couple of pictures of the front and the picture I attached. The car looks like a mess and very weird to me. That is why I asked.

Dino numbers, eh?

Definitely seems a bit off to me though. The hp/tq curve should intersect at 5252 or something like that, which it doesn't. I would completely disregard that dyno sheet.

I agree. Doesn't look like a normal dyno graph. Have always see the two intersect some where very close to 5250..

Yep, at 5252 rpm each ft-lb = each hp.

Must have been different power and/or torque units used.

I assume this dyno was somewhere in Europe and therefore Newton-meters and kilowatts may well be the units used here.
