I am FINALLY about to have my 418ci LS3 installed next week. Well started on I should say. Car has been down for 9months. Recently, I have been over turning a thought in my head and curious about its outcome. The cam spec'd for this motor was originally for a stock LS6 int. and stock LS6 TB (budget). Well I ended up on a short notice deployment last summer and purchased a FAST 92 and LS2 90mm TB (unported). The specs for this cam are 240/248 .630 .603 116 on EPS lobes. Drivability was a main focus. Im aware this is a mild cam. It only has 12* of overlap. Im just curious about that variable change with the FAST and TB. I wouldn't think these mods would hurt hp/tq. Im hoping to achieve that 500rw mark Thoughts???

"Only"?
With 12° of overlap, your drivability will suck. I'd keep in the 4° to 5° range.

My last cam was a 234/242 on a 112 in the LS6. That cam wasn't a terror to drive, just annoying around 1500-1700rpm with a little bit of surge. Im sorry didn't give a back story from what Ive come from. The first cam in the motor was a 233/239 113 which drove smoother.
