Default reprogramming remote

Can anybody tell us how to reprogram the key fob? Thanks! Toupeeguy

Hold down "lock" and "unlock" buttons together at the same time for 7 seconds should do the trick. If not you need to do it through the DIC display. If you need to do it that way repost I'll dig it up. :yesnod:

i would hope you need to go through the dic everytime so not just anyone could go up to your car and open it :D , you have to have the key on the on position right

Turn the key to ON and don't start the car. Press the Options button and cycle through the choices untill a blank screen comes up. Hold the Reset button down until FOB TRAINING appears. Press and hold down the lock and unlock buttons at the same time until the screen indicates it's ready to do the next fob. You can do up to three.
