Gauge removal

If the DIC will not display voltage that would be very low or at the bottom of my list of things I need to see via the DIC.





That gage and the digital reading show you the voltage that comes out of the IGNITION SWITCH. Most people who use a multimeter and actually read voltage directly on the battery will soon learn that there is a difference between the two readings.
Some C5 have a greater difference than others due to the condition of the contacts inside the ignition switch.
Why do you need to remove it and what will go into its place? Just curious?
Here are a couple of post for you that may help you get the job done:
The gage/s are connected to the IPC with a ribbon connector. Just remove the nuts, separate that cover and lift out that gage.
