If you want more take off power, you will need to invest in a higher stall speed torque converter & 390 or 410 gears.

I continue to support both products (and others), burn chips for older cars in hex, and flash LT1s. I have taken the most advanced courses offered, but like Doug
says there is no substitute for knowledge gained racing my carburetor & MSD distributor Camaro and 68 Vette back in the 80s. REALLY knowing how it all worked
back then is why I've been successful with the EFI stuff. I've always owned an auto transmission building business and learned electronic control strategy from the
earliest lockup trans to the current on boad TCM units today.
Real simple, you sound like a fool mouthing off about someone you know nothing about. It makes you look stupid.
You have based your opinion on malicious attacks from competitive businesses and former friends on a forum that were designed to hurt my reputation.
A forum populated by young, immature boys (regardless of age) who are allowed to use foul language and trash whomever they chose without regard for
the laws of libel, slander, and defamation. LS1 Tech survives BECAUSE Trash talking and foul language SELLS just like the NATIONAL INQUIRER and we
all know that the National Inquirer ONLY PRINTS FACTS and true information.

For instance, the vehicle below was tuned by me from 1,500 miles away thru e-mail. This car is aggressive and runs amazing and has more than proven itself.
It's more than enough work to tune a car in person.... but, thru the internet when I can't even see, hear, or feel what it's doing? Come on now....
Here's what I've learned in life and you'd be an even smarter person if you took my advice.
TRULY SMART PEOPLE, know what they don't know. And more importantly, they keep their mouths shut UNLESS they have first hand information or experience
backed up with COLD HARD FACTS.
Running your mouth, when you have no idea of what you're talking about...or quoting FACTS from some internet forum or website....
DOES NOT MAKE YOU SMART.
It makes you look very foolish.
Be smart.
Chuck CoW
Just reading that members repeated libelous posts had me wondering if he was a kid, now I realize with his 25 years experience as a fancy designer has taught him nothing about life or business. Give it a rest man, you're making an absolute fool of yourself. FOR REAL!
Just in case you need to ask, I've not used Chuck to tune my h/c/in/ex/supercharged C6, but I would let him in a heart beat, simply because he doesn't stoop to the level of someone like yourself, who's never used his services to begin with.
Keep your friend's name, I'll be using Chuck to work out a few tune issues I've had with "my local tuner", that couldn't get it right in person after trying for more than two weeks straight of failure using his dyno. Couldn't even get it started, and once it started, it was never the same, stalls, etc. This tuner went to school, has done thousands of LS tunes, but couldn't tune my car complete and finished because of the complexity of all the components involved. I've yet to bash him... Why? It is simply not my style to bash a hard working business man because my build was just a little out of his league.. I shook his hand, paid him his money, and started looking for someone with the skill required to tune a Corvette with similar components in their build. The cars runs and drives, in fact it hauls azz, but it is still not 100%, and 100% is no less or more than I'll accept.
Any business owner that relies on people like you to stir up business for them by bashing others has a lot to learn, regardless of the classes they've taken previous....
My apologies up front to any and all on these forums, I'm usually not one to jump into a thread like this, but enough is enough!

The OEM stall is around 1200-1300 RPM. Much too LOW to build any TORQUE.

Do you or Chuck know of any installations, and have the owners seen any good success in its use? I'm a sucker for a great sales pitch, fortunately though I always do a ton of homework on any upgrades before diving in head first.
In short, I'd love to know your opinion on the unit itself, and if there is significant benefit in tuner options beyond stock my stock PCM.
Chuck, have you tuned any LS motors using the new Haltech 2500? Your thoughts.
Thank you gents...

Again instead of finding ways to become enemies with someone, give them the benefit of the doubt and meet up with them. You may just make a friend and learn a thing or too along the way!

Great post... not because it's pro - Chuck, it's just a great post with the kind of attitude and spirit that would make the world a greater place if heeded.

Thanks and it is so true...in a world filled with social media and a zillion ways to communicate with people, we often take the easy way out and never actually meet or get to know someone. Often we get the wrong portrayed image of someone by their appearance on the internet. Someone very sarcastic but cool and smart could easily be mistaken for arrogant and dumb. I am sure all get my drift.

There will NEVER be a day when I'm not allowed to fix my own car.
Hell, GM no longer carries or manufactures certain critical parts for the C5.. What are we suppose to do? Stop driving them? Junk them?
Tuners will be fine for a LONG time!!

Some points worth noting:
When none was forthcoming, they were removed as a supporting vendor and we asked for any customers with unresolved issues to let us know who they were so we could assist them in any joint efforts to seek relief.
Forty-five minutes thereafter Pfadt posted a Facebook announcement saying they had filed bankruptcy.
It's worth noting that about the same time the complaints about Pfadt were rolling in, we banned more than a dozen suspicious junior members who had registered to bash Pfadt competitors.
Pfadt since has been purchased by another company which has a good reputation for customer service and we understand they are working to improve some of the Pfadt products that customers previously had problems with. At some point, based on those efforts and their efforts to reach out to former Pfadt customers to assist them, we may allow them to resume sales of Pfadt products here at Corvetteforum.
As to the quality of work performed by Chuck CoW or any other supporting vendor at Corvetteforum, customers are encouraged to post feedback, good or bad, on their experiences and/or their unresolved disputes in the Transactions Feedback section.
That section was created at the request of site users so it would be easy for them to review the experience of other site users before making purchasing decisions on any product or vendor.
We do not allow reviews by third parties who have never done business with a vendor or on products they have never used. If you are going to provide a factual review that might be useful to others, you need to do it based on your own experience, rather than what you might have picked up third-hand.
There are a number of people in this thread who presented themselves as experts based on what they have heard others say. Most of their posts have been deleted since hearsay isn't as useful as first-hand reports.
