I have tightened the crap out of the 10 mm nut till it won't tighten anymore and I can still twist the terminal connector back and forth..it won't lift off but doesn't get rock solid like the positive terminal does...
I haven't taken it off to try and see exactly how it works and before I did I thought I'd see if anyone here has experienced the same thing and how they fixed it.. or is it just time for new improved cables, or new ends? Thanks

I have the same problem. I think the nut loses its taper if it's torque spec is exceeded. Somewhere I have the service manual and I'd look it up, if I could find the book.....
