Default Outside Mirror Woes

Hello all, I have a 2004 Z06 with heated and memory mirrors. My passenger side outside mirror had lost quite a bit of range of motion, so I began looking on the forum to see if anyone else had the same issue.
After reading many posts (Thank you for some of the best “how to’s” I have seen), I did not find one that addresses my question so here goes:
I was able to pop the mirror off of the motor just fine and discovered that a piece of plastic (located on center of the motor) that attaches the mirror to the motor has broken off and is attached to the center of the mirror. I was able to remove it, however I am now faced with the task of figuring out how to fix this.
My question is this; Is there anyone that sells just the top of the motor case, or does anyone have a burned out motor they can let go of, and I can hopefully replace the outside cover. If not, what are my options?

Thanks in advance!

Barry
PS) My apologies if this has been addressed, I was unable to locate a post.

Yep.. Give Marc a call and he will most likely be your best bet for used repair parts.

Can you post a picture of the broken part? It may help me come up with a recommended repair other than part replacement.
