i just found out i have a bassani exhaust (C5RMB5) on my 2000 vette. i see it listed at 1300$, so its not a cheapo.

anybody out there who can tell me how this compares to stock power wise? (its not loud.)

I assume you're speaking of a catback? If so, the power gain is not usually noticeable. Sounds faster, though.

not a huge hp gain, 5-7 was common, it's just better built and better sounding {subjective}

that was a VERY popular brand back when c5s were new

should easily go the life of the car
