I need some help on which model to get. I got a 99 6mt. I tried looking online and they have different model numbers for the pulley and belts. So if someone could help me out on which one(10%) i would need with ac and what belts i need, unless stock sizes fit.
I have had mine so long I can't honestly remember the part number (although it might be in the photo below). But you will need new belts. Couple of things to be mindful of. First, once installed the ATI doesn't remove with a three jaw puller. Rather, the puller needs to be a larger version of the steering wheel puller. Also, when pressing into place during installation, don't follow ls1howto.com that uses a longer bolt. The ATI will have an interference fit (like stock) and you need the tool to correctly install. Below is the tool I made for installation. Very easy to make for less than $20. Bill Curley also made a tool similar but uses the original bolt removed from the stock unit. You can likely find his with a search or shoot him a PM. There are also other tools you can buy to do this. The GM installation procedure is also shown below. Note that the dimension for measuring to ensure it is fully seated will not apply to the ATI, you will need to measure and compute a new value. I have it somewhere in my notes from original installation but not sure I can find it. I may be able to dig it out if you need it though.
Bottom photo shows the ATI after removal. Notes are below the photo.
This photo shows the removal tool required for the ATI damper. Also, there is a round piece of metal that is placed against the end of the crankshaft to push on for removal. This eliminates and loading on the crankshaft threads.
