Default 2002 front blinker issue

I have a 2002 corvette and the other day both front blinkers went out at the same time. the back two work fine but the front two do not. I have not changed the bulbs because I can't believe that they would both go at the exact same time.... any ideas?
thank you

write them down and post them here...it may just be a bulb, but this will be good practice anyway.

I have a 1998. The right front bulb goes out on a regular basis, about every six months. I carry a spare.

Do the DRLs work? If they do it is not the bulbs.

You apparently have a heat related issue where the DRL has melted a hole in the top of the housing or it is cracked. You get water in and no more bulb. Can also corrode the connector. Very common issue.

Yes, both rear signals work but blink quickly and both fronts do not blink

It's either the multifunction switch, wiring or the bulbs. I'd check the bulbs first.

If you have holes in the housings, which is quite common, then washing it with the bulbs hot could blow both bulbs at the same time.

The last common point between both sides is the multifunction switch. Once past that, each have their own wires and grounds.

It can't be the hazard switch, even though someone will probably tell you it is.

Multifunction switch or wiring throw a code? Or the grounds?

If you are asking if any of that will throw a code, the answer is No.

Thanks, but I was asking about the DRLs. They are the daylight driving lights (in the front) that are on when the headlights are not being used. They use the same bulb filament as the turn signals. If they work then the bulbs are good.

That means the bulbs are good. Would seem your MF switch is bad. When you use the Hazards the fronts are not powered thru the MF switch like they normally are.

The Blue wires go to the Front and the Green and Yellow go to the rear.

This is very helpful, thank you!!! This may be a dumb question but, where is the MF switch located?

If you run into any issues let me know.

Removing the knee bolster is not hard but there are two metal clips at the far left that may be hard to release. When I removed mine one released and the other did not but slipped off the bolster and remained in the dash. Not an issue, it can be replaced back on the bolster and you would never know.

If you want some pictures just PM me with your email.
