My car is 11 years old but has 45k miles. The front rotors and pads right before i purchased the car. The rear rotors and pads were original. I chose the stoptechs based on cost, reviews and that they are supposed to be low dust. Its been a week and it seems like there is quite a bit of dusting. I understand that without switching out the rotors i might have more dust but i have driven 300 miles and have seated them.
I could be wrong but rotors wont really change dusting very much.
I bought the cars, it has stoptech rotors and pads and they dust pretty heavily. I dont mind cause I wash the car every week(I swear I will never buy a black car again)

I wash at least once a week as well but I have been cleaning the wheels daily. I hear you on black, my wheels are black and that could be part of the issue. It may have been something I never paid attention prior to the switch. Pollen and environmental dust is pretty heavy right now and that could be part of the problem.
