Default LMC5 Amazing Experience

I bought an LMC5 from Compliance Parts in California. Had the dreaded locked steering wheel. I messed up the large BCM connector when trying to get the old wire out! Richard tried several ways to help me but my 73 year old body just couldn't do the contortions necessary to complete the removal of and replacement of wires in the new connector. Here is the totally amazing part!!! Richard and I became friends with our numerous email and phone conversations. Richard is a man of the highest integrity and consideration for his customers. He felt badly and responsible for the problems I was having. What did he do? He actually hopped on a plane, flew to Oregon, and in two hours we were headed back to the airport for his return flight. It turns out that my Corvette is secondary in this odyssey! Primary is Richard and his personal integrity and the astoundingly high regard he has for his customers. He could easily have just said sorry for your problems and let it go at that. He chose instead to follow up and take the extraordinary step I mentioned above!
Richard, this is a public thank you for your honesty, integrity, and personal interest in your customers. You are an outstanding individual who stands above the rest!!!

I'm having a slight cooling system leak. Wondering if Richard would consider flying down here to take a look.

When I did my install of the LMC5, had to call with a question and same experience, all vendors should be as good.

Its an amazing company and personal service is second to none! I use to just recommend people just pop in a Corvettes of Houston CLB.

NOT any more! ALL I RECOMMEND IS LMC-5! That's why!!

There are too many different versions of the column lock circuitry to have ONE module to work properly on all of them. Richard at Compliance Parts has that all figured out and if it doesn't work on your car, he will MAKE IT WORK!

I have spent at least 2 or 3 hrs on the phone with Richard and he is the best, I am sure I tried his patience but he hung in there and we solved the problem. What a guy to fly to Oregon and fix a elderly guy's vette. I heard another story about him actually delivering the LMC5 on the side of the road in his red C6 out in California where he is from. You will never go wrong helping people. Some people of faith believe this is one of the gifts (helping people) God gives U once you are a believer. I think this is Richards gift. God bless U my friend. What a story

Amazing - the most outstanding service I've heard of from any supplier. There are many that could take a lesson from Richard.

Richard - thanks for all of your support to the guys on the Forum.

Default Richard rocks!

I have to add my vote for Best Customer Service to Richard at Compliance Parts. I bought an LMC-5 for my 2004 Z-06 due to all the recommendations here. The standard four wire install did not get rid of the "pull key" messages so I called Richard. He was absolutely enthusiastic about helping and recommended the optional 5th brown wire install, which fixed my problem. Great guy, great product.

An older guy like myself posted a while back about having trouble and richard hoped a plane to oregon, fixed the guys vette and flew back. What a testimony.

Once upon a time... LONG ago there were business's that opened their doors at a given hour, answered phone calls, if you had a problem they would kindly try to fix it, they acted as IF they REALLY appreciated you spending your hard earned dollars with them, usually the knew you by name after a few purchases... Well, those days are LONG gone
So, when someone like Richard at Compliance Parts comes along, it's a breath of fresh air... or Dennis at Double D or Marc at Vettenuts... many quality vendors on this forum sorry, if I didn't mention you.
Anyway it's just a SMALL way to say thanks for treating your customers the way you would want treated...
