I went with a forum vendor and got one when they advertised a sale for about $12 shipped. I don't know if it is the most efficient or not, but all the stations I listen to came in the same as the original long antenna.

I have a 02 Electron Blue ZO6. I ordered a black shorty antenna (too many years ago to remember from where)
I was at a car show and I noticed my buddy had a White FRC with a blue anodized shorty antenna. We swapped antennas and both of us couldn't have been happier.
I noticed a small loss of reception but, its nothing to write home about!
No more C5 fishing rod on the rear fender.

Pro tip - buy 2 at this price... I've bent mine several times, and had a buddy bend it as well while getting some gear out of the trunk (FRC)...it's so short you can forget it's there.
Just waiting for mine to break, next time it bends I suspect metal fatigue will rear its ugly head!
