I can not remove the lower bolt it appears that the previous owner/whoever, must have stripped the nut/bolt, she just spins and will not back off. Any suggestons? I tried to drill the bolt from the top but to no avail, broke the bit off. I want to avoid having to take the lower control arm off.
I just finished installing c6 shocks all around on my car. I believe that their is room to get a small grinder in there and grind the head off the bolt and drive it out the bottom. Die grinder or cut off tool whatever will fit in the area. If you can get access to a cutting torch it would just a small cut to make to remove the head from the bolt. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply, your suggestion is what I thought my next step would be.

Good advise, and be careful around your sensors.. it's simple to unplug them and move them out of the way so you don't cut, pinch, melt, burn, or harm them in any way...

I also just installed C6 Z06 shocks... they are a very nice upgrade.
They are firmer but NOT stiff... they took the jar, out of our suspension... sometimes it would feel like it was going to bottom out and make you go mpffff... when we hit a big dip at higher speeds... the C6 shocks took all that out...We live in a part of Oklahoma that has some of the worst roads in America... and the C6 Z06 shocks have helped a LOT... great upgrade!!!
NOT harsh or rough at ALL

I was able to cut the bolt off with a die grinder, Thanks Harbor Freight for the disposable tools. I just finished removing all of my shocks, rotors, brake pads, sway bars and brake lines. I will have her back on the road soon to see what I have achieved. C6zo6 shocks and c6z51 sways with moog endlinks, carbotech pads and centric rotors.
Glad you resolved it. For others, one can also use a "nut splitter". It goes around the nut and you tighten down on a sharp cutter that actually results in enlarging the nut so it can be removed. Especially good if access is limited.
I once bought one for my tool inventory and did not need it for over 20 years. It came in very handy one weekend.
