Now that all of this is going on I'm debating on whether or not to put a more street friendly clutch in the car what would you guys recommend for 6-700hp
The clutch was installed by the previous owner the receipts show that it was installed in February of this year so there's about 2 thousand miles on it
What would you guys recommend or have had good luck with for some aggressive driving and street driving
I would put a different clutch in it no matter what just based on how many specs I saw blow to pieces, then looking online to see how spec handles failures.

My biggest complaint is the lack of forgiveness in the pedal. It's either on, or off , there is no smooth transition into moving. It's like it always wants to be launched like at the track LOL
Makes it a bear in traffic.
I have a SPEC dual disk and I beat it pretty hard. Works fantastic. With the Tick Master, the peddle effort is a bit stiff but, im use to it..
Its handling only 450 RWHP but,, thats why I chose that one so I was well under its rated capacity.
Where have you seen a SPEC blow up??
Bill
Hopefully both of the right pictures uploaded. I was going to post links but that would take way too much time. Many of the failures I've seen (8 documented on one of those pages) were on very low powered ford duratec v6's.
3rd gear, main shaft, counter shaft
Pretty much everything.
I will have a cool gangster necklace with transmission parts hanging all the way around it now LOL
I'll take pics of everything once it's picked up
Jeremy is saving everything
Ha this us true man, just never though I'd miss third gear THIS BAD LOL!!!!
Least the tranny and diff are safe, also ordered a mgw flat stick that comes with the lower box. With a dose of don't be an idiot I should be in good shape
