I had a code for 1 of the valves so I took it all out and used my old school Predator to Tune

I actually just cut off my header holes for them and welded the little hole. I left the pump in place and plugged in for now. Just recently threw a code for it though. Deleted it and it came back one time and then never again.

Ill remove mine when I do my turn signal swap on Monday. It will give you a CEL when you remove it. Matter fact it probably will when you weld the holes. But I have 02 sims also since I don't have cats. So I got no CEL. I suspect my pump is dying and that's why im getting a code now.

I had no problems with the system still in. Had to leave it in when I lived in Vegas emissions tests every year.

I think its more just its in the way of stuff and the motor is easier to work on with the stuff gone!
