Default Headlight problem

After replacing the motors on my C5 the left one works properly and nothing from the right one. However, when I take the left side lead and plug it into the right headlight it goes up and down as it should.

What do I need to check? I'm baffled.

Yes, that's the first thing I checked---even reversed them--both are good. Thanks

You're saying both motors work but the power wire for the right side won't run a motor? Did you take a good look at the connector and make sure you didn't damage anything?

8VETTE7 - Your wire descriptions are not very clear. Both wires always get used. One is power and the other is ground and it switches depending on the direction. I think what you're saying is that the light colored wire has power when going up and at the same time the dark colored wire would be grounded. The opposite would be true when going down.
