Ported Throttle body problem, question.
I picked up a ported Throttle body from Breathless Performance Saturday at Corvettes at Carlisle. They also installed it, saying your RPM's will jump up after a few cold start-ups until the computer "learns" the new part. After 8 0r 9 cold start-ups, the problem still exits. Did I get correct information and should I disconnect the battery or do something else to remedy the situation. Thanx. :seeya

Mine did the same thing, after about 15 to 20 cycles it was okay. When it was cold I would start it up, let it find its idle, then shut it off. Did this about three times on each start up in the morning. This sped up the process. It will work.
