Default Convertible Toop Storage Cover

Hey, Guys, I don't what to call it, but the flip-up cover for the convertible top (when it's down) won't stay open. Is there a hydraulic strut that holds it open while you let the top down or put it back up? The one on my car just falls back to closed position when I open it. Any advice would be appreciated. Yes, there are 2 support struts. I ordered the following kit since my trunk lid needed them also and this was cheaper than ordering just the 4 for the convertible lid and trunk lid and I have the 2 for the hood when I need it. They are easy to change and it just takes a few minutes.

Thanks so much. I didn't even know how to ask my question since I don't know the official name for the cover!

Do you know who makes the struts that Mid-America is selling? Is it Sachs or Strong Arm?

You must never put the top down with the key on, otherwise you'd see the DIC complaining that "Tonneau is ajar" when you open it.
