Default new TC and powerloader programming shift points

Got my reprogrammed powerloader back, installed Yank3200 and 3:42 gears. But shifts are to early (around 5700rpms 37mph and 75mph). I held in first/2nd gear to 6000rpm and speed was 43mph and 83mph. Question is this correct why to determine desired shift point mph/rpm (?) Would this method be the same as WOT. (?) --- I am sending back to Steve Cole for re-programming (again) and i want to make sure it gets done correct. Thanks.

Wish I could help. I know Oceanaire on the forum has a 3200, maybe ask him what his are set at. Look him up on a 'Search".

Dave, The shift points are set by MPH not RPM. Let Steve know what MPH your car is now shifting, and the MPH you want it to shift at. I had the same problem with my car when I sent my powerloader back to be reprogramed for a converter and 3.42s, my car was shifting at only 5500 RPM.
