Default What is this?

My car has been making some weird noises which I think are related to bad wheel bearings. (roaring sound when going down street louder when turning left and almost disappears when turning right) To check I jacked up my car on both sides using the jacking puck locations and pulled and pushed at 3&9, 12&6 on all of the tires. I had movement on the drivers rear so I am going to replace the rear bearings. When I moved the car back into the parking spot I saw this on the ground next to where the front passenger tire was located

The part is 25 1/4 inches long and 9/16 wide. It has a metal insert which you can see in the picture looking down at the end which bends back on itself like an according. I think it is some type of support or brace but I did not see where anything had fallen off the car. Any help would be appreciated.

The car is a 2001 Convertible MN6 with 154,000 miles.

Are those cooling fins? Looks like a heat sink of some sort. Maybe part of a heat sink for a PS cooler? Crazy guess...

Hi
pretty sure its from your ac cooling radiator .

This is what mine looked like

maybe check you don't have that crap caught up in the front wheels , might have something to do with the noise ?

I would guess your Flux Capacitor had a Semiconductor come loose and fall off... DUDE you may need to replace the ELECTROMAGNETIC CLUTCH before your ISOLATION DIODE takes a dump and ruins the RELUCTOR
Good luck

The others guys might be closer than me..

This might actually be it based on what yours looks like. Possible the bottom of mine fell off? Going to be a nice weekend so I will have to break out the jack stands and do some more investigating.

I checked this first. I am sending the appropriate 1.21 gigawatts through the thermal coil. I am however having trouble setting the destination clock but that is a different subsystem and not part of the current problem I am working on.
