Here are all the codes currently showing on the DIC:
TCS C 1277 H
C 1281 H
C 1283 H
C 1286 H
C 1287 H
A 0 LDCM
B 2252 H
B 2282 H
B 2284 H
U 1064 H
A 1 RDCM
2283 H
2285 H
U1064 H
A 6 B 0851
99 HVAC B 0333I don't see any codes that seem to relate to the speedometer problem. Odd!
Several codes relate to battery, which I just replaced. All codes have the H for history. I have not reset any of them.
The problems with the TCS Traction Control have been there for quite awhile. The speedometer problem is fairly new, but where are the codes??

RESET ALL THOSE and see what comes back. When you have a GLUT of DTCs its difficult to see what's going on.
Start at the differential and check the speed sensor on the top passengers side of the differential housing. Make sure that the connector is plugged in and not damaged.
The Speedometer Speed signal malfunction DTC/s would be B-0516, P-0500, 0502, 0503.
You can disconnect the Sensor connector, drive the car and see if you detect the disconnected sensor..

I worked on an identical issue with a guy in England about 2 years ago. It ended up being the PCM. No codes and no speedometer function.
I'll look at what we did in that to refresh myself.
