Default 1998 Vert TPMS Sensors on Ebay

I need TPMS sensors for my 1998 vert, the car did not have any installed when I purchased the car. My question, I found sensors on Ebay item # 121456860771 manufacturer is ITM. Has anyone used these sensors and if so are you happy with them? The price is $150 for a set of 4 , which is about half price from others I have seen.

Used or New? If new how old are they?

Not at home so I don't know if they are pre 01 or not. 01 and up will not work on your car.

They are new less than a year old. I found some at even a better price Dorman 974-301 made in China $18 each new with 3 year warranty. What do you think?

Something else to consider... The 01-2004 FOBS and TPM are much better than the early style sensors and fobs.

Gene Culley at CULTRAG Performance has a 01-2004 KIT that replaces the FOBs, TPMS and the Remote Function Actuator (RFA) so that it can receive and process the new FOB and TPMS frequency. Its all new GM Stuff and the only mod is a wire harness connector re-pin for the new RFA

Thanks for the info, but why would I spend $500 when I can get 4 sensors for $80 and Discount tire will install for free since I bought my tires there. I also have two new FOB's that work just fine.

Just giving you OPTIONS... If your FOBs ever fail,,, they are VERY expensive. Some people hate the old system and have issues and up-grade despite the cost.

I hope you find the correct aftermarket sensors that work properly. Some sensors DO NOT program the same as the OEM ones and you have to jump up and down on one foot while singing the Chinese national anthem for them to properly program,, if they program at all.

Hope you easily find a good set.

Thanks I appreciate all your inpo and value it. My FOBS are the new GM replacements without the slide switch and work grate and really not that expensive $35 each. I just talked to Discount tire and there is no problem programming the sensors they have done quite a few. Again thanks.
