I got my exhaust plate in a few days ago and when I was about to put it on I noticed it only had 4 small strips of 3M tape on there. I put it on and centered it perfectly but I was kind of sleptical about it staying on because to me it still seemed a little loose. Especially on the bottom part of the plate. Just to be safe I removed it mainly because I dont want it to fall off when I am driving down the road. What should I use to make it stick better? Should I get some more 3M tape and put some real long strips of it on the back or should I maybe get super glue.
Re: Question about installing my exhaust plate (BrightRed C5 SWFL)
When I installed mine it didn't have the tape in the right places.
I bought more tape and made sure it had good contact. To make
sure it was straight I had a small step stool that would slide under
the area and put a piece of wood on top of that. Atfter that I placed
the bottom of the plate on the wood and tilted up into place.
:D
