Default Question about installing my exhaust plate

I got my exhaust plate in a few days ago and when I was about to put it on I noticed it only had 4 small strips of 3M tape on there. I put it on and centered it perfectly but I was kind of sleptical about it staying on because to me it still seemed a little loose. Especially on the bottom part of the plate. Just to be safe I removed it mainly because I dont want it to fall off when I am driving down the road. What should I use to make it stick better? Should I get some more 3M tape and put some real long strips of it on the back or should I maybe get super glue.

I am surprised that the plate was loose after you first installed it the way it came.

I think most of these come with plenty of sticking power.

In any event I would stay with the 3M tape and forget about the superglue.

Best of luck to you.

Don't use super glue or the plate will definitely come off. It is too brittle and won't fill gaps well.

When I installed mine it didn't have the tape in the right places.
I bought more tape and made sure it had good contact. To make
sure it was straight I had a small step stool that would slide under
the area and put a piece of wood on top of that. Atfter that I placed
the bottom of the plate on the wood and tilted up into place.
:D
