Default Drivers Tail and blinker issue.

I am new to the forum.
I have done some searching and haven't been very successful.

I have an 02
It has been converted from auto to 6spd.

I am having trouble with the driver's brake lights, driver's hazard, and driver's(rear) turn signal. (Driver front signal works fine)
When I turn the headlights on the driver's taillights illuminate so I know they are getting power.

Checked the sockets
Checked bulbs
Tried different hazard switch/relay
Did the multi function switch test (hazards on then left or right blinker)
Checked fuses but to my understanding the ecu is what tells the bulbs to flash?

Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

No, the Hazard switch has an internal flasher that services as the turn signal flasher and hazard flasher.

What MF test did you do? AND, what results did you get?

Tail lights are a different circuit and a different filament in those bulbs.

Sounds like the MF switch is probably bad.

Thank you for your reply.

The test I performed on the multi function switch was as follows:

Turn hazard switch on

Use multi function switch and turn on left turn signal

Repeat with the right signal.

From what I read if the multi function switch is bad the hazards will become solid while the blinker is activated.

Also is the front and rear blinker on a differentcircuit? The driver's front blinker works.

Here is the schematic in the "normal condition". Green goes to rear right and Yellow to the rear left. Blues go to the fronts. You can see they don't both go thru the MF switch when the Hazards are on.

Sounds like the MF switch is bad.

Let me know if you have any other questions. I can post how to replace the MF switch if you need it. I have worked on dozens of similar issues with regard to the MF and Hazard switches.

Before you do that just make sure you have NO voltage to the Stop/Turn Signal Yellow wire at the rear.

If no power, here is some MF info.
