checked fuses everything good.pulled the codes here is what I got.

10-pcm p1571 h c,p1689 h c
28-tcs no comm.
40-bcm b0432 hc
58-sdm u1040 hc
99-hvac no comm.
a6-scm b2605 hc

drove the car for a short distance and still no climate controls.does not come on at all.abs and traction control lights stay on.never did this before.before abs and traction would come on for a min. and go off at random times.not sure what to check next.

 

Did you fully charge the battery? I don't recall seeing you say that was done. Fully charge the battery. Reset all codes, then try again. If you still have issues pull the new code and post.

 

no I did not charge the battery.i had it tested and everything came back good.

 

Here is what I did today. I took switch back out and checked everything. Readjusted and sanded everything again.put everything back together and started it up.a/c was working.so it looks like I had something wrong the first time.traction control and abs was still on.i pulled the codes and here is what I got.

then I cleared all of them. Only one that would not clear was a6-scm b2605 h c.it would come back every time I cleared it.traction control and abs lights went off. Everything was looking good. Backed out of garage motor stalled. Still had power. Shut it off and started back up fine.no lights on everything looked good so I took it for a ride. I drove for about 15 minutes and no problems.before air bag light would come on and traction control and abs.they would only stay on for a couple minutes.so I thought it may have fixed it.then about two miles from home traction control comes on and abs.then lights shut right off.about 1 more mile air bag,traction control and abs come on then back of in a minute.when this happened I notice voltage went up about .4 volts and my dic readouts were not giving me the number readout.(ex:coolant temp no # reading. shows the words coolent temp but no #'s)was working fine before lights cam back on.i thought I really had it with how dirty the ignition contacts were.i pulled the codes before I shut it off and this is what I got

I had codes b0432, u1040, and 28 TCS No comms. When I replaced my ignition switch this weekend they all went away. i know you've cleaned yours twice but a replacement might be worth a shot. Your car is exhibiting many of the classic symptoms of ignition switch issues.

 

I was able to take it for a nice drive today. Was gone for about 4 hrs. doing a little shopping a couple different stores. Everything was working good. The abs and traction control lights came on for second and went off. Other than that car acted perfect. Before the lights would go on and off much more or just stay on. The last store I was leaving started up the car and put it in gear to take off and as soon as I start moving it dies.it would start up fine just when you start moving it would die. It took about 8 tries and then it finally I could drive it.one thing I noticed after I got it going was my memory seat switch would not work. Switch started working after 2 miles. Will the ignition switch cause this problem? Any thoughts on this bill?

 

Did you see a message that said PULL KEY WAIT 10 Seconds, before you started the engine??

no that did not happen. The pull 10 sec has happened one time and I pulled key waited 10 sec and it started right up. This time though it did not happen.

 

all steering Colum lock recalls have been done.

should I get 97-04 C5 CORVETTE STEERING COLUMN LOCK BYPASS/FIX/REPAIR?

 

Rereading this you put new battery terminals in but what about the battery itself? Have you measured it since the new terminals went in?

 

when new terminals were put on the battery was tested. Everything came back ok.i will get it tested again.i ordered a lmc5 module.

 

I put in the lmc5 in.i am still having the stall problem. When I start moving car stalls out.i am not getting 10 sec pull key message.i am not sure what to do next. This is getting very frustrating. Love the car just wish I could drive it.any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

 

Clear ALL the DTCs. Cause the car to roll and stall... BEFORE YOU TURN THE IGNITION OFF,,,, Clear any messages in the DIC using the RESET BUTTON and THEN,,,,,,,,,, READ AND POST ALL DTCs with the H and or C suffix.

Please post what shows up.

after I started it when I read the codes they all said no comm. Backed up and let it stall and read the codes before I shut it off.

thanks for the link. I have checked drivers door connecter. Everything looked good. Will check passenger door and those skinny connectors by bcm.thanks again for helping out.

 

first off I want to say thanks for everyone that helped out.i got in touch with Richard at compliance parts. He has been great with helping troubleshooting this problem. our conclusion is that the bcm is bad..i have one on the way.after I get it installed I will post back with the results.

 

put new bcm in and no luck.car still stalls out when u move.when the car is running it comes up with no comm.when car is off all codes show up.i will call Richard at compliance parts tomorrow to see what he thinks.you guys have any other ideas?i read a post were someone said they had same issue and there k harness was bad.does any body know where the k harness is?

 

the car is an automatic.when its running it shows no comm.then when you move it stalls and then I can see codes.here they are.

I also noticed my seat controls were not working correctly.one of the directions you press moved the steering wheel.you had to press down to go back.is this because of new bcm?

 

talked to Richard at compliance parts and he had me put old bcm back in because new one was doing same thing.after relearn process i cleared all codes.started it up and i get no comm. after about a min. it started working and i could read codes.took it for a drive and only codes that i got were

b0 rfa c2100hc,c2105hc,c2115hc

shut it off and restarted.would stall out.show sames codes as last time.started again and i was able to drive still same codes.started it again and stalled out same codes.tried again and it stalled out same codes.then pulled scm fuse then i was able to drive it.got no comms for a sec. and the it started working.

2nd start could drive it same codes except but no c on bcm.then i cleared codes.3rd start was able to drive same codes.no comms were going on and off.let sit for about a hour and started it and drove it.same codes.put fuse back in and cleared code and got
