The RC rating is to allow the car to sit IDLE for a period of time and still start. If, you drive it frequently and don't let it sit for long periods of time, you should be fine.
The lower the RC the faster the battery will deplete with the battery just sitting and car not being driven.
Your car has a CONSTANT 25-30 milliamp current draw when it goes into the SLEEP /SECURITY MODE.
I am on my 3rd one in my C5....had them all replaced under warranty...first 2 had cells go bad the warranty is good the first one lasted the longest....the WalMart battery that came in my Jeep held up better all things being equal...
so....if you buy one keep your receipt handy
FWIW the last 2 Optimas we had were also replaced under warranty in a different C5
and yes....if you let it sit a while between drives it will discharge quite a bit....C5's are worse than the C6's in this regard
I have an Interstate in my rider. Talk about parking your vehicle for a long period; I park it in October and cut my lawn last weekend for the first time this year. Sat all winter covered by a tarp, started instantly (three years it's done this). OK, no draw to speak of, but still pretty impressive.
If they had a 120RC battery I'd buy it, as I am looking to replace my 2 year old Delco "just because" (want to bump up to 120RC from 95 IIRC).
or do i need to go with the mt7-78 agm(125RC) $262?
Almost double for the AGM. I do like the handle on it, As i like to take it out in the winter.
I bought an AGM made by Delco from that online company that has Prime. Price was less than $200. And it came to the house in 2 days.
A car battery is very heavy, and I was impressed with the convenience.

Like Bill posted, if you drive the car or use a tender then it doesn't matter. The RC is so the car can sit for weeks on end and still start. The 95RC might allow you 4 weeks of sitting vs the 120RC getting you 5 weeks of sitting.
If you get a normal battery then spend $5 and get an acid mat to put under it.
Your profile doesn't show where you are, but if you are near a Farm & Fleet store they have a Duralast AGM battery in a 78 size that is about $125 and has a RC of 120.
I have been running this in my '99 for several years. I bought it because it was an AGM with good RC and a good price.
this one? hmm not sure i trust this. if i have a problem with it.....its a problem!

I certainly buy a LOT of items through internet sellers, but a car battery, at least one for a daily driven car, is something I wouldn't. Granted, most batteries don't simply give up, they go away gradually. But if they do crap out without warning , and they have a warranty attached to them, you want to be able to get the problem resolved, and be back on the road ASAP. Only a local outlet can do that for you.
Something else to consider, especially if you have a tendency to travel. You buy a replacement battery from a "parts store" for instance, or even a large retailer like WallyWorld. You on vacation, 400 miles from home, and the battery dies. There's usually a local Advance Auto, Auto Zone, NAPA, somewhat nearby. Amazon, not too likely.......
leadfoot4 - you make a good point; if a battery craps on me when out of town I guess I go buy a new one for full-price at a national chain place. It becomes a part of the cost of the trip. About the same price as another night in hotel.

Just to clarify as well as expand a little, on what I meant, but didn't fully explain.....
If you get a battery from a "brick and mortar" chain store, such as Advance Auto, AZ, NAPA, etc, and your battery that's still warranteed dies, while on a trip, you can get the "pro-rated exchange", as well as an installation, in almost any town of reasonable size, in America.
