Can I use this injector?

When I removed this injector, the (brown?) "clip" that is next to the o-ring on the bottom(intake manifold) end was cracked. It has since fallen off. What is it for? can I still use this injector?

It is for keeping the o-ring on the injector and not letting it fall into the intake when the injectors are removed.Should be available at your local parts house.

100% On the mark...

You may have to purchase an O ring kit or a rebuild kit to get it but,,,, If one is cracked, the rest are brittle also.
