Problem with headlights?
Hey All,
I just bought my first vette. 2004 C5 red convertible! been wanting one all my life. I purchased it yesterday and I have realized that sometimes I turn the car on and the headlights flip up automatically (with the lights set to off). Then I flick the lights on and off until eventually they go down. I don't think headlights turned on automatically in 2004 in the vette. The setting is turned to off on the left **** and they still flip up... then I notice when I turn the lights off when I turn off the car sometimes they stay up for a little while when I get out of car (they eventually turn off and close on their own if I stand and wait). I would think this all was normal with a 2015 car bc they have lights like that now but I don't think this is normal for a 2004 is it? It seems like the lights have a mind of their own. I am wondering if this is an electrical issue. I have also noticed when I put a USB port in the cig lighter and charge my phone its constantly starting and stopping charging so that makes me think this is an electrical thing even more. Please let me know your thoughts.

Sounds like twilight sentinel is enabled on your car. This is a normal function. Twilight sentinel can be turned off through the DIC settings under Options.
