How do I pull the alternator bracket off? To do so I need to remove a pulley as well as the power steering reservoir. But can someone tell me how to do that and what tools I need?
If I could access those bolts on the front of the head I wouldn't need help. Thanks!
From memory, once the water pump is out of the way and the alternator, I could get the bracket off in one piece without touching the power steering pulley. The power steering pulley will very likely break if you try to remove it.

you can get the bracket off without touching the power steering pulley or pump but it's a pain, you can loosen the bracket bolts with an open end wrench little by little as you pull the bracket forward and eventually it will come off... if you remove the pulley to access the bolts it will probably break but you can replace it with a c6 pulley that is made of metal and only about $20

Looking at the photo I suppose an open end wrench would work. Comparatively that segment is no where near a pain as the rest of the job.
How much fluid should I anticipate coming out of the pump?
Pulling heads, no intention of removing my water pump again... screw that.
Once the power steering pump is loose, it just swings out of the way. You shouldn't lose much fluid but you can pretty much empty it beforehand with a turkey baster and then refill with fresh fluid after it's reinstalled. Fresh fluid is also good for the pump in the long run.
