Interesting AC problem.
The AC went out about 4 months ago, just randomly started blowing hot, I went and bought a can of freon with a pressure gage, checked my line and it didn't say it was low or high, it indicated "other problems" and went directly to the red on the meter.
So about 2 months later I take it to my buddy's shop, apparently the AC compressor belt had completely come off, so they put a new one on, and low and behold it still blows hot.
He keeps it for a couple of days, says is most likely my blend door actuator, and I'm a broke college student so I just sucked it up and lived with it. (Even through this ridiculous summer we had in Florida)
Well one day it rains, and I have to turn my defroster on, and when I do, I notice the defroster is blowing cold, figured I'd try my luck and switched it back to the vents, and Lord help me, it was blowing cold on the drivers side, and hot on the passenger side. Which was more than okay with me.
It stayed that way for about two weeks, I made sure not to even look at the climate control so I didn't scare it back into blowing hot, and as luck would have it, it started blowing hot again out of nowhere.
So I was hoping that any of the mechanically inclined members of this forum could diagnose this and possibly tell me a fix that didn't involve removing the entire dash.
Also, it's not showing any codes for the HVAC.
Thanks, Nick.

Many times when the passenger side is cold and drivers side warm, just needs a shot of freon. When the drivers side cold and passenger warm, usually means blend door.
However, before tearing things apart I would try resetting doors, I believe you can do it from the DIC buttons, pull fuse or disconnect battery. I also wouldn't hesitate to add a little Freon. Let us know how it goes.
