The following is prettey much what I posted on the crossfire site, but I thought I would pick a few more brains here as well.
Wedge.
Well....the new trans has been in for about 3 weeks now and other than my noisy exhaust the car has been running like a trooper. However, this morning on my way to work my car startrd acting up again? Whats happening is I will be driving along fine and with no warning the car will start stumbling badly enough to want to try stalling. This goes onfor a few seconds with me feathering the pedal frantically trying to keep it running and then everything is fine again. To add to this it happens under normal driving conditions mainly around town speeds. Had to get a lift in this morning because it was to bad to do anything but limp home. I have no service light coming on and no codes so far. I believe it is the fuel pump or the inition module under the coil, if any of you have another idea i'm listening.
Thanks again
Wedge.   :mad :mad :cry
Re: Bad Stumbling/misfiring/backfiring/stalling? (WEDGE)
Wish I could help, but I don't know what your problem is. Your guess could be right...... I had the same condition once in my 86 vette, and it proved to be a bad tank of gas. Hope yours is an easy fix. :)

There was a post here recently that described a similar problem. It turned out to be an ignition wire that had suffered some heat damage. Check all your wires and plugs.
