Looking to replace my stock lifters and came across this kit. Can someone tell me if these lifters included are the LS7 lifters? I was looking on the gmparts website and it showed the replacement lifter being about $30, I assume that is each?!
I would take advantage of any opportunities you have while the heads are off. It is not that expensive.
I agree with this too. Valve job is not overly expensive...
"And while you're in there..."
Scoggin Dickey Parts and Brian Tooley Racing are two good places to source lifter kits. The LS7 lifter is the only "OEM" replacement that GM sells for the entire lineup of LS based engines.
Valve job. Inspect heads and valve seats. New valve guides, inspect the valves and valve seat margins. Lap / Reseat each valve and or replace any valves that are damage or out of spec. New Valve guide seals. Set the spring height with required shims.

New valve springs, guides and seals were the first thing I did when I bought the car, about 10k miles ago.
^Plus most shops will triple grind the valves for you. Triple grinding is where the seat surface of the valve is cut at three angles to help flow (more curved than a cone shape). I disassembled/reassembled mine and got a discount, $150 for both.
The factory valve guide design in these heads is hardy (ductile iron) and usually doesn't require replacement unless there is damage.
You will want to install new seals. They fit under the springs and are easy to install.
I agree with what the other guys have said but also inspect the cam lobes for wear. Bad lifters or weak valve springs (valve float) can damage cam lobes which is always a downhill slope. That metal has to go somewhere aka bearings, so just take a look.
