quits running
My 03 Vette at times is hard to start. On start, sometimes starts immediately. One third of the time, it misfires erratically, then engine spins as though zero compression, then misfires. Then, I stop cranking, remove key, wait one minuet then try again. After 3 or so tries, it usually starts. Last time after starting and driving, without ANY warning, I was without any power and coasting to edge of road.
Then trying to start (removing key each time) 3 times, engine started again only to quit again. This quit 2 more times before arriving 6 miles to home. Local dealer has had no luck diagnosing problem as it started each time. I noticed on the first quit while driving, only message on dash said "check gauges" Help please.

Its time to investigate, look for loose wires, grounds, wires at the starter maybe loose. spark plugs etc etc.
