Wiper are question......
So the body shop apparently had to remove the driver’s side wiper arm when installing my aftermarket hood and front flared fenders. Not sure why but they failed to put the wiper arm back on. I stopped by and they gave me, what I thought was the wiper arm that was on my car. The wipers never gave me any problems. When I went to reinstall the arm I noticed the post is splined, however the arm they gave me is smooth, no splines. Now I may be wrong, and have come here for an answer to possibly a dumb question, shouldn’t the wiper arm have splines to mate to the post and then the nut goes on? 
Oh, they lost the nut and cap as well, so if anyone knows the size and thread pitch for the nut I would appreciate the info. Thanks.

I don't know the answers to your questions however it sounds like you still have the passenger side installed. You could pull that wiper off and answer your own questions if nobody chimes in.
