Default Column Fix Mod

I just ordered the LCM5 column lock eliminator for $40. I haven't had a problem yet but it looks like eventualy it would develop one and it doesn't take much for these batteries to dump pretty quick. I keep mine on a float charger constantly because you never know when you're going to drive it again.
I did have it go dead in the lower garage in the Fall but everything worked perfect including the seat and steering wheel memory after recharging but I don't want to take a chance.
I bought a good portable tire pump and a new 800 amp lithium battery jump box as well.
I want to make sure I can get this thing home when I leave with it.
I know I can get just me home with not much problem but I'd be scared to be stranded with this thing somewhere.

All good moves but you're being a little paranoid.

So that's where those strange thoughts and voices are coming from. You're right though, they keep telling me to buy more toys. I WANT MORE

I've never seen so much memorobelia like that in one place in my life. My God it looks like he has a Billion dollars worth of stuff in there, not to mention the guns. How does that work, an M60, loaded and fires it out his window.
I think when ever go on vacation again I think I'd like to visit him.
Wonder what he did for a living to be able to be able to accumulate that much stuff. Yes he deffinately is the winner. "Dragonman" he calls himself

be sure to do the brown wire fix when you install it - I didn't and started getting the pull key message which got annoying - took 15 minutes earlier today to do it - hope I got the right wire out

Yes I'm going to do it tomorrow afternoon since it's all still fresh in my mind. I was gonna do some more with the Ranger clutch fluid change too but after doing it twice today that method seems like a big waste of time to me with over 80 cycles and not seeing where anything migrated up or down. It just needs flushed from the bottom period, pain in the *** as it must be

Not really. As far as the column lock goes at least. Mine was fine for a few years after I got it too. Then it started acting funny. They will all fail eventually. Might as well do the CLB before it gets you stranded somewhere.
