Default Clutch assist spring

How many of you guys have taken out your clutch assist spring? I did it when I had pedal sticking issues and it seemed to help without it.

Just curious.

Mine just broke last night. Yanked it out...only difference I could tell is my cruise control dont work w/o the spring(the spring forces the pedal up the last few mm's, off the sensor).

Im putting a new one in.

I had sticking pedal after a couple 1/4 mile runs so I removed clutch spring to see if it would help while i ordered a new one. I've yet to install the new one nearly a year later. i'd say its slightly less prone to stick without it. But removing it certainly won't prevent sticky pedal altogether.
