Clutch smoking?
I've found (mostly noticeable in second) that my ?clutch? smokes at high RPM?
Testing:
Car - oil/coolant/clutch are warmed up.
-Driving in second, go WOT, once I reach ~4.5 to 6K RPM, when I left off the gas, i'll smell burnt clutch or something. Also, some smoke will come out of the center console.
I don't believe the clutch is slipping, because I can go to 4th gear and WOT and the RPMs won't rise above the acceleration rate.
I have a McLEOD RXT Twin Disc.
What else could be making this smell / smoke? I have looked under the car... see nothing that would do it... Any idea? what should my next troubleshooting step or isolation step be?

Wash down the rear of the engine with brake parts cleaner and wipe off the bell housing and oil pan. Take the car for a drive and see if you can repeat the symptoms. Then inspect the back of the engine and oil pan for any oil that may have escaped from the engine and hunt down the source!
