ignition alarm active after removing the key
I have an 02 C5 and my ignition alarm continues to sound after I remove the key. Anyone else ever experience this.

There is a switch inside your ignition switch that is probably damaged. That switch tells the BCM that the key is either IN or OUT of the ignition.
Its the switch in the middle of the picture and It looks like this:
Here is a HAND DRAWN (the best that I can do) that schematic of the switch. If you OHM Meter pins G, H, & I you can insert and remove the key and see if the switch is properly functioning:
