Are there any codes being set??
What does the SECURITY light on the dash do when the car fails to start? On solid?? OUT?? Blinks??
Here is the starting circuit diagrams for the C5:
Plenty of possible places for the problem to be.
Numerous fuses that might be flakey or have poor contact, bad ignition switch ( a common C5 issue), bad TDR, clutch pedal start switch if it is a manual, Park/Neutral position switch if it is an automatic, bad BCM start enable relay, poor battery connections, pellet on the key not being read properly...........
Time to get the digital multi meter out and start diagnosing.............
