Hello to all. I am a newbie member and owner. I just purchased my first corvette and love it. It is a 1999 Pewter convertible with 51K miles. Everything works pretty well but I have a glitch in the Climate control and no amount of internet searching can get me an answer.
I have air coming from all areas no matter what position the control is in. I have the dual auto climate control and I see the display switching when I hit mode but it makes no sound and the air comes from defrost, floor, and dash vents with not much volume from any of them.
Is there an actuator or servo? Is all of this vacuum operated? I pulled the control head and there is just a single plug in the back and I could not see any vacuum lines anywhere.
Thanks in advance for any input. I look forward to being active on the forum and possibly contributing something someday.

Thanks to you both. I have done a lot of searching on the web but I guess I was not using the right key words. I hope to try and find the problem today or tomorrow. I plan to start under the battery and see if anything jumps out then go to the wheel well compartment and rear of manifold.
Success! I found both of the plastic/nylon lines broken in 4 places under the battery tray. I have had the dreaded acid leak but it seems to have been a long time ago. I guess I cheated a bit, I sleeved the lines with a tight fitting vacum line. Seems to work fine until I can replace them both. Do not want to tackle the intake until I have to.Would never have found this in a million years. Thanks again.
