Default Road clearance

What is the stock height (road clearance) of a 2001 Corvette? Mine has been lowered.

This may or may not be helpful, but I all honesty, I've observed that Corvettes, from the factory tend to vary in ride height. I know that they all SHOULD be the same, at some pre-determined height. But personally, I don't think it's a cold, hard, fact. My car has the F45 suspension, and as delivered, it sat like a 4x4 Jeep...........

Where is yours sitting now?

This is what I have come across also.

Another thing to consider is in some conversations and posts on the forum with techs that actually worked on the design process of the C5 they have often proclaimed that the jigs used to construct the front and rear sub-frames often produced minor discrepancies in production thus often cars did not ship at completely "square looking" ride heights; ride height was determined by proper corner weights.

This is one of the reasons why you shouldn't just go to town immediately turning down the bolts when you lower the car. Ideally you should turn the bolts even numbers of turns each side until you get the desired ride height.

If the car is between 27 1/2" to 29" on the tops of the fenders that's very roughly in the area of stock height. For sure if you're near 27" or below it's been lowered quite a bit.
