Re: What Oil Temp do you wait for before.... (vstella)
All right, followup question. At what temp. do you shut down??? When ouside temps get over 110 degrees oil temps go extreme when you drive the car as it was intended.
I still think @ GM proving grounds in Mesa AZ they need help in driving the vehicles as they were intended.
They usually caravan and the golf carts in Sun City Retirement area would pass these guys on the freeway..... :smash: :smash:

I don't move the car until it's at least 100 degrees because I need to let the springs get warm and no WOT until at least 150 or more..:D
Many content that with todays cars, its actually worse to start a car cold and let it sit and idle. Its better to go ahead and drive it easy and let everything ease up to temp.

I lay rubber out of my garage after a 5 second warm-up...and only then because it takes me that long for the memory to engage and for me to buckle up! :D
