I Have a 1998 corvette and the battery went dead and now with a fresh battery the car wont start ..This happened before to the car about 7 years ago and I had to reflashed the computer and it was fine ...during the last 7 years I had a real bad stroke and don't remember what I did ..Can someone please Help Me...THX Bob I checked the starter key switch and every thing is tight when I turn the key the gauges all swing but wont turn over just like 7 years ago

At the top of this page, you'll see a Red Bar going across the screen (User CP, FAQ, etc). Click on Quick Links, towards the bottom of the list you'll see Private Messages. That's where your PM will be located.

You must be logged in to the forum before the Quick link option is visible to you .

We talked. At the moment, He has a SECURITY (VATS) issue. Recommended cleaning the Key Chip or trying the spare key or both. Once that happens, please report back.
That Security light needs to be out whe the key is in the ON position for you to get anywhere.
