gen 4 ls1 swap
Has anyone swapped their ls1 to newer gen 4 internals. Wondering how you did it.
I don't want to buy forged if I don't have to. From what I've read in the transition year(04) some cars had mixed internals. And any ls6/ls1 made in 05 had the 3.898 pistons, floating pins and big rods.
I bent my stock rods, but nothing is wrong with the block or the crank so no reason to get rid of it
