car not starting it is my daily driver. started right up yesterday 2x no problems.
then it didn't start. a couple of clicks, hooked up for a jump and bam started immediately. drove it for about 20 mins. 3 hours later, same result.
Has been throwing code P0495 for probably 2 months. I simply reset it, but it would come back on. Seems it came on when we went over a bump. Had the same issue in the past, but it seems to have resolved itself.
No other codes have come up.
Check the battery voltage with the ignition off, should be 12.5V or better. If lower, more than likely the battery. If it is 12.5V+, then it will probably be the starter solenoid.
Get a long pole (3-4 ft) and while cranking the motor, bank the stick once or twice on the starter. If it starts it probably is the solenoid.

no voltage meter .... hmmm ok - if we start it with a jump, then drive to the battery store, will the voltage potentially be higher and give a read that is higher than it is.?
be sure the battery terminals are snug. I had a problem like you describe and found that 1 terminal would not fully tighten. I shimmed it with a small wiring connector so that it would tighten and haven't had the problem since.
We went to the battery store, one of the connectors was loose! Yay.... or so we thought.
car sat for a few hours and dead again. Went back to the battery store. They checked the alternator and starter - no issues. Replaced the battery -
This morning, nothing, zero, zip!
clearly something is causing a drain. The only thing I did differently was on Monday put in a new cell phone charger, and left it in and on. I removed the charger Wednesday night after the 2nd jump.....
Sounds like the battery is on the way out to me. Could be lots of other things as well but battery is easy to test for and fits your symptoms to a T.........

When you say nothing do you mean the battery is dead (low voltage on meter) after sitting overnight? If so, you have a pretty good amp draw. An amp meter or amp clamp would be nice here, but you could take a shot in the dark & look at that cooling fan code issue you have. Does the cooling fan relay stick in the on position?
Does that mean that you didnt have any interior lights, gage swings when ignition ON, DING, DING, DING when you put the key into the ignition with door open, turn the ignition key to ON ect......
To properly troubleshoot and fix this issuem you are going to have to accurately describe the normal and abnormal symptoms that you see.
If you turn the headlights to ON, do they rotate and come on?
Trying to figure out if you have a battery or starter / starter circuit issue..
