It is an 02 Z06, i just completed an auto swap. There are actually 3 connectors.

Why would you wire into the upper switch at the lower end of the brake travel? Nothing wrong with the light blue wire (that illuminates the rear lights) that I recommended. That's not the issue that I was having anyway.

Per N2MB tech support, and the answer to why my scenario wasnt working:

Set your TPS threshold to 3.2 volts in both locations. Turn the no-lift shift to "ON" and auto. It must be on.

Just trying to help. If the info isn't correct I'll delete it. Please delete my quote in your post #42 so it doesn't confuse others reading this thread.

Done.

I was asking if there was a reason why you wanted the upper switch at the lower end of travel.

My thinking was that you could still have the brake partially engaged and the 2 step would be off. I dont think you would want that happening at full throttle. Maybe I'm missing something?

I don't know the answer to that. I just took a quick look at the schematic and didn't take that into consideration. You are probably correct.

Update:
Here are my install pics. Notice on my 2003 z06, the PCM connectors in the wheel well are red and blue. PCM connector with RED module is where pin 26 (purple wire) located.

2 step works great. Very easy to launch. Will play with different RPM there.
No lift shifting is something i need to get used to. Definitely need to play with different settings once i get used to the action.
Will record a video of 2 step soon.

Question about TPS threshold V for for Launch control and no lift shift:

Does the value control the position of the gas pedal?
Currently mine is set to 3.71v
What do lower values mean?

Thanks.

I think they are for how far the throttle has to be down before they activate, when I first installed mine the no lift would activate driving normal under part throttle every time I shifted until I got it set correctly

That's my understanding as well. You obviously dont want it on the upper half of the gas pedal travel, or the 2 step would activate under normal driving conditions. Somewhere near the bottom of travel is ideal.

According to the readings I posted earlier, my pedal readings are 4.10V at the top of the pedal travel and 2.94 V at the bottom of travel. obviously you want it closer to the bottom of the travel, hence N2MB telling me to use 3.2 V as the threshold.

I noticed our TPS V are almost the same, yours = 4.02, mine is 4.06
Yet the TPS threshold V are quite different. mine is at 3.71 and yours is at 2.90

Does that mean your launch control and no lift shift engages sooner?

I'm not really sure, I put those 2 settings in 2 yrs ago when I installed it but I know my no-lift doesn't engage until higher rpms that way I can let's say run it up to about 5 or 6000 and clutch it and it won't activate

every car is probably a little different and you just have to find what works, I also run it at the drag strip use both 2 step and no lift and don't have any issues with those settings

The best thing I like about it is you don't need your computer hooked to it to change the launch and no lift settings just the button on it!

Default Supplemental Guide For N2MB WOT Box

This was created by me with great assistance from Greg_E.

After my initial talk with N2MB, I finally got them to explain their instructions and discovered the later C5 was not fully addressed in their instructions.

Now imagine yourself with your under dash, fusebox, and PCM all exposed without good instructions. After a couple of days from a promise, N2MB finally called me to assist. To their credit, the discussion was fruitful and cleared up some things.

Please let me know if you see errors or additional info that will help others and I can update.

Richard Snitzer, the Job Aid you uploaded is no longer available! Can you repost it?

Thank you!

I didn't tackle the install last night, figured I would wait until I had all the documents I needed.

How long would you say it would take you guys to install if you were doing it again? Hopefully I can blow some flames this weekend!
