Started my 97 c5 the other day (has 2002 computer) car started quick and fine as normal.. shut the car off after about 10-15 seconds because i couldnt hear what someone was saying outside the car.. now everytime i go to start the car it cranks for ever before it wants to start.. if it starts at all, sometimes i have to hold the gas to the floor to get it to start
thank you for your reply, may be the issue.. because when the car starts it runs fine.. it also has aftermarket rails and fuel pressure regulator. It was just odd because it just all at once did this and if i hold it to the floor it starts up
Peddle to the floor during start is how injected cars are CLEAR FLOOD STARTED. Sounds like something is causing a very rich mixture issue.
Try and start the car without doing the clear flood and if it doesn't start, Pull the plugs and inspect them. See if one plug or one bank is WET with fuel.
Alright guys.. pulled the codes and it's throwing a cam sensor code.. just did cam swap and had tuned.. put about 250 miles on it.. afraid it may be cam bolts.. what's yalls opinion
