Default Sluggish start

I have a 2012 grand sport it is slow to start sometimes I feel it won't start. There is no warning sign coming up on dash

Have your battery tested.... BTW this is the C5 forum for 97-04 cars

C5 section BUT,,, I agree... Have the battery fully tested.. Have them tell you the CCA Number, Reserve Capacity number. If either one is LOW, I would recommend replacing the battery with one that is at or above GM C6 Min battery Specs for CCA and the Reserve capacity ratings.

Some other things that can case sluggish cranking is the connections on the starter solenoid, loose connections on the battery or both.

Clean and retighten the battery terminal connections and MAKE SURE that the main battery connections on the starter solenoid are clean and tight.
