1998 M6 with 4:10 gears, cruise works fine in 4th gear, all fuctions. Almost immediate dis-engage if in 5th or 6th.
Before you get toooo far into troubleshooting, just for the heck of it,,, Readjust the brake and clutch switches and see if that changes anything.
I know it works for 4th but would like to take that/those issue/s out of the equation.
When it kicks out, immediately, without changing anything, use the DIC and read the DTCs and see if any DTCs pop up that could be related to the cruse issue.
